Another bad move by the sens. He has been a horrible player for the Sens, esp for the last few games. Nothing but give aways. Murray is making a huge mistake. How can you not see when a player is making mistakes like that? The is frustating as a sens fan and season ticket holder. If this deal goes through, this puts the nail in the coffin that I will not renew my tickets to see this brutal dman make mistakes night in and night out.

umm don don.. really? you are not going to renew because they sign Kuba? He is still one of the top D-men in the leauge. He is number 19, which isn't too bad.

He has played bad the last few games, but he has been one of the few players that has played well. So yeah. Its good that we are keeping him.

Pavan, for once we disagree lol. I am very upset with the signing, too much money for a guy that doesn't hit and plays soft. I knew they would sign him when he scored last night and I told my gf he would resign after he scored last night

are you serious Don Don?? WOW....the fourth best scorer on the team, the highest plus minus on the team (a +8 on a losing team)....Clearly his mistakes are nowhere near those of others who are paid millions more per year. This is a good move by Murray....well, as long as we have not given the guy a Redden like contract!!!!!

We must be watching a different player out there...cause I completely disagree with you on this one...

TSN is saying an average of 3.7 mil a year.

Also reporting we trade Vermette for Pascal Leclaire and a 2nd round pick.

I think 3.7 mil a year is waay too expensive for Kuba. He is a #3-4 defenseman on a below average defensive team. I would've gone for 2 - 2.5 mil for that guy.

As for the Vermette-Leclaire trade......I like the draft pick, and I hope this trade allows Vermette to figure out what kid of a player he's supposed to be. He would've been an awesome palyer if he had decent hands. As for Leclaire.....I really think we have enough average goalies on the team, we don't really need another. Besides, a goalie wiht bad knees is a huge risk.

BRUTAL SIGNING.

Close to 4 million for a 20 point defenseman??? That guy should have been flipped for a second rounder and a prospect. I hope Kuba doesn't have a NTC.

As for the Leclaire trade...Leclaire is another Gerber in the making. He has had one good season, two mediocre seasons and is getting pad the same as Gerber.

Wow. Leclaire better shut out the Oilers Thursday and take this team to the third round next year.

Kuba was given a NTC as well?

Is it too early to start drinking? STOP WITH THE NTCs Bryan, they inhibit OUR ability to deal these players and hold leverage on them!

I watched as much as I could bare last night and I thought (H to G) that Kuba played poorly on purpose to discourage a potential trade! I counted 3 give a ways in the first period but they are not called that by Brown (only when spezza gets a pass in his skates and loses it). Kuba is really soft and we have many of those. No, I am not a Kuba fan. 2 goals and almost 4 meg for sponge bob! I hope Kuba has character!
