OCALA, Fla. _ Expect to see Adam Mair get the book thrown at him by the NHL.
A league official confirmed to Sun Media today that the league is reviewing the incident of Mair marching down the hallway late in the Senators' 5-2 victory at the HSBC Arena to try to get Ottawa winger Chris Neil. Senators coach Craig Hartsburg told reporters this morning that the league has to deal with Mair. All that stopped Mair was Senators winger Jarkko Ruutu, defenceman Luke Richardson (who was in his street clothes) and director of communications Phil Legault, who stepped in the middle. "They have to look it for sure and I'm sure they will. To be running down the hallway after the other team is not a good thing," said Hartsburg this morning. "They'll reviewed it all and the right thing will be done. But, it's obviously not a good situation." Neil and Mair had both been thrown out of the game at the time of the incident, but Neil wasn't in the club's dressing room yet. Comments:

*shrug*
Unacceptable behaviour and he will get punished. Nice to see there is still some bad blood between both teams.

I saw that footage on TSN last night. Part of me was expecting him to shout out "have another doughnut you fat pig." It would've been especially delicious since it was Buffalo's arena. Too bad it didn't happen.
I'm not sure why Mair would even bother to run across to the visitors dressing room like that. It wasn't like anyone was embarrassed by the fight or anything, or that Neil did anything 'against the code.'

Ah itw as just Mair being Mair. He was upset about something, but everyone knows Neil has a way to get in to someone's head.
