So it’s apropos Friday’s programming is decidedly Star Wars-centric, despite the haters and even though the space opera’s last episode,
Revenge of the Sith, came out four years ago and another movie looks unlikely to ever happen. But undeterred by the absence of a feature film - or speculation about Episodes 7, 8 and 9 - Comic-Con is nevertheless throwing a self-styled Star Wars Spectacular, which will include tidbits on the Star Wars Concert Tour, the Blu-Ray releases of the movies (cha-ching!), LucasArts games and even the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Lastly, there will be a Star Wars Movie Fan Awards, which honours the finest in fan-made viral videos.
Hey, as long as it doesn’t have Jar Jar Binks, it can’t be that bad, right?
