Could Nedved be the answer?

Interesting to note that apparently the Philadelphia Flyers have recalled centre Petr Nedved from the minors in the hope somebody will claim him.
The Senators are in the market for a second-line centre and Nedved, when he’s motivated, would fit the bill. Under the rules of the new CBA, a player being recalled from the minors has to clear waivers. If the Senators claimed him, the Flyers would be on the hook for half of Nedved’s $1.5 million salary meaning Nedved would cost the Senators just $750,000.
That, it turns out, is exactly what was freed up when Alexei Kaigorodov was sent to the minors and then refused to report.
Nedved has been be a floater for a while, but he’s also a guy who is very skilled and might be able to play with Daniel Alfredsson.
Do you Senators fans think your team should try and pick Nedved up?

I don't know if I can comment here as I don't have anything to say about milfs but...

Who are you going to send down or sit when slow Pete rolls into town? Move Kelly to the wing? Hamel down to Bingo?

The answer isn't adding an unmotivated, slow Nedved. It's a new coach.

Underachiever? Senators? Sound like a good fit if you ask me.

For the love of god - please NO!

I agree with most of your opinions Chris, most of the time, but I can't support you on this one! Although, now that I read the blog again...you're simply posing the question and not advocating picking him up, are you? Anyway, I digress.
Over the span of his career, Mr. Nedved has had his(good)moments to be sure. However, in the past several years certainly, they have been few and far between. I don't think he would add ANYTHING to the team, and certainly not the "stuff" that they appear to be lacking in the season thus far (and in playoffs past). I WISH I had the answer - but I know the answer is NOT Mr. Nedved.

Just what the Sens need, another underachieving malcontent floater. Come to think of it, he would certainly fit in. Whats this talk of trading Volchenkov? He is rapidly becoming their best defenceman. A goalie who can stop a puck is still the #1 priority. Hasek would look good now.

Ditto to jimmieb's comments. No way in hell they should even think of trading Volchenkov. If you're going to trade then get rid of some DEAD WOOD - not a guy who's career is blossoming.
