Thomas Beattie, 34, has delivered a healthy baby girl.

If you're not familiar with the story, back in late March, Beattie wrote a personal account for the gay news site The Advocate about his experiences becoming pregnant because his wife could no longer bear children.

You see, Beattie was once a woman and had a sex change operation but chose to keep the lower girl parts. So Beattie was still able to conceive - And now Beattie is a new mom...er...dad..um...parent.

TMZ had apparently reported the baby was a caesarean birth. But ABC discounted that, saying the birth was "natural," according to one of its sources.

Now thanks to Oprah Winfrey, we know that, in fact, Beattie does not have a penis implant, but has an enlarged clitoris that looks like a small penis... So I guess giving birth the natural way is possible.

Though I think I'd still want the drugs...
